This will be our first meeting with the new Webelos. In the beginning of the meeting we will explain to our new scouts how the meetings are run. Then we will go over the rock climbing merit badge requirements. Also we just found out that we need to know the 5 knots in requirement 7. The figure eight follow through knot will be the most important knot for us to know. We will go over those knots and make sure everyone knows them. Please bring rope to the meeting. To end off the meeting we will play a game.

Troop 316, This Thursdays meeting will be a gym night at Round Hill elementary school. Please bring some balls or other things so we can play some games. Also if you haven’t completed requirements 1,2,4, and 7 for the rock climbing merit badge please finish them before the next meeting after gym night 2/3.
The Troop has scheduled the rock climbing merit badge for 2/5. We have some prep to do for this merit badge before we go so we can spend less time in the classroom and more time climbing. Attached below is the work book and merit badge book. Please print out the workbook and start working requirements 1,2,4, and 7 so we can discuss them at our next meeting.
